Raised in Beeville, south of San Antonio, Dr Fitch considers Texas home. He received his degree from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis Tennessee and came straight to Amarillo, his hometown by choice! His Prior experience as an RN gives him additional understanding of diseases that affect vision. An interest in the latest technology assists him in diagnosing diseases as early as possible to prevent vision loss.
Dr. Fitch enjoys the outdoors. An obsession with astronomy takes him to remote sites around the Panhandle & US seeking dark skies for the best observing possible. Join him for a tour of the sky at one of Amarillo Astronomy Club's public observing sessions. Or meet him on the trails of Palo Duro Canyon for a challenging mountain bike ride. Dr. Fitch shares his home with his wife Tena, and two cats. He & Tena are both grateful that their three sons also call Amarillo home.
Dr. Ryan Hollingsworth was born and raised in Amarillo. After graduating from Amarillo High School in 1999 he attended West Texas A&M University where he graduated with honors in 2003. From there he traveled to Boston to attend the New England College of Optometry from which he graduated with honors in 2008. Dr. Hollingsworth is a certified glaucoma specialist and enjoys the pediatric side of optometry.
A family man, he is married to his wonderful wife Karen whom they have 2 beautiful children. Dr. Hollingsworth loves the outdoors and the benefits it brings. He enjoys many recreational activities; his favorite past time being golf.
